Thanks for visiting. This is my site for our Relay For Life, which we’ve been doing every year since 1998.

For those who don’t know, the Relay For Life is an American Cancer Society fundraiser. Folks form teams and gather at a local high school on a Friday or Saturday evening. Once the event launches, teams have a member out walking the track until the event ends the following morning. There are various ceremonies to remember those who lost the battle, and honor those who are still fighting it, or helping others to fight it.

Each team member solicits donations, which are a fixed amount and not dependent on the time or distance walked. To date, our team has raised over $86,000. Thanks to my very generous family and friends, I’ve been able to raise $55,000 of that myself.

No relay for us this year (2011) - life and other things have gotten in the way. Not sure if we'll do another one next year, or if we'll find some other way to get together, have fun, and give a little. I'll update this page when I know more.

In the meantime, feel free to use the menu bar above to check out how it’s gone in previous years. And thanks again for taking the time to drop by.
